Search folder not working correctly

I have a search folder that collects data that is in a particular month. The search has “due date is after the end of one month and before the beginning of the next month.” However it does not work if the data is on the last day of the month. It goes to the search for the month but also into the search for the following month
In the screenshot if the date is the 31 March it goes into the March search folder but also into the April search folder.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you tried “is on or after” and “is on or before”?
