Is there a direct way to duplicate a record in a “link to form” subform?

I currently use the (>) to “view selected linked record details”, then record>duplicate record, then (<) to go back to the parent form but it feels like a very convoluted way to do it. Hoping I’m just missing something.

    Hi Paul,

No there’s no other way to do it. Although if you click on the row number and then press command-c, then add a new record and press command-v to paste, the contents of the clipboard should go into the cells in the same order. But it only works for basic field types. Nothing complex. I should add a proper duplicate record button there.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

Thanks Brendan – the cmd+c/cmd+v thing should work fine for what I need.
