Use dropbox between two Macs

    Can I use DBox to keep two desktop macs up to date? If so, how?

    Only by manual Backup/Restore.

    iCloud is the only autosync possibility but both Macs need the same Apple user-ID.

    If you are syncing the DB to the same user who has an account on two or more different Macs, which is my situation, then use iCloud. By far the easiest solution.

    Now if you mean two different users, then that is not so easy. TF does not have automatic multi-user synching.

    However, I suspect one could do it with a little Unix command line magic by creating file links (unix ln) inside the appropriate iCloud folder in ~/Library that link to the Drop Box folder. You would need to mirror this on both machines and not try to update the DB on both Macs at the same time. In theory this could work.
