What am I doing wrong? These are the steps I’ve taken.

In the database list I tap a record to highlight it.

Tap the button at top right corner.

Tap the top option in the menu – ‘Delete Record’.

In the page which opens I tap ‘Delete Record’ again.

Back in the database list the record is still there.

    Hello Richard,

You’re not doing anything wrong. I did. In the last release I accidentally left a piece of code commented out which caused the delete function there to stop working.

The workaround is to view the list of records in your form, then swipe your finger across the row, then tap the Delete button that appears.

I have fixed it for the next update.

    Sorry for the trouble.

    Thanks,

    Brnedan

    Hi Brendan

Many thanks for the solution and the ultra-rapid response. Yup, swipe/delete worked.

I’m sure I tried this before but for some reason wasn’t successful.

    Regards

    Dick

    Hi Brendan,

I’m running v 2.0.1.1 on OS 4.2.1 and am running into the same problem. When I click delete record in the action list it returns me to the Forms page without deleting the record. I’ve discovered that to use the swipe and delete method I have to create a second record (if there is only one record in a particular category) so that the records are shown in list form. If there is only one record in a category then when I click on that category it takes me directly into the record and not the list page.

Phenomenal work on this app, btw!

    Hello Javelin,

I hope to have the update with this fix out the door by this weekend.

    Sorry for the trouble.

    Thanks!

    Brendan
