Mark KristanParticipantI am using Tap Forms 5, not the pro version, 5.3 is the actual version on my. iMac (the machine I generally use TF with.I do not sycn with iCloud, iCloud drive is turned off, there are a few programs (such as Notes) that I hace sync turned on for but TF is not one of them. What is happening is two specific fields in a data base (or. collection or document, or whatever you want to call it) with close to sixty records have suddenly been emptied out for all records in this data base. This happened perhaps two weeks ago, I have Time Machine backups going back a lot farther than that, I suppose those backups, the ones. that were made beofre this. started happening, should contain those copies of that database as they existed at. that time, with those two fields populated. I am. trying to extract the information in t hose two fields and populate the (Now empty) fields of what loads when I click on that database from the list. of collections on that maching. When I go into TM and select a backup from weeks or months ago, it just opens the current copy, with those two fields blank for every record. I also have Tap Forms on a newer MBP, it is Version 5.3.35 (Build 1901), it contains only records but those are all. fine. I have USB drives I could use to copy between machins. I’m truying to get a copy of the database as it is existed two or three weeks ago to load, then save that and have that open everytime I open that database. Thoughts on how I can move the. data from. those two fields, as. it existed before this started happening, into the document that loads when I click on the documen in the list when i open TF?

BrendanKeymasterHi Mark,
Sorry for my delayed response.
If you have a Time Machine backup I believe you can restore it and keep the original and the backup. It has been a while since I’ve used Time Machine, so I don’t remember exactly how it restores. But I do believe there is a Keep Both option when restoring. So you could keep both, then double-click on the restored version and then export your form as a Tap Forms archive (.tfarc) file and then close that document, open your current document, then use the Import Tap Forms Archive function to import that archive. That will update the current copy of the document and restore the missing field values.
Thanks,
Brendan
