I noticed in the release notes that there’s now a plain text option for text field. I just want to give thanks for this option. I try to use Markdown or plain text as much as possible in my workflow, and one of the main gripes with Tap Forms was the rich text formatting when pasting text from browser and then it getting formatted in myriad of ways. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to paste rich text anywhere in any application. When the fonts and formatting got wrong, I constantly had to spend time tweaking it to a more plain format. I don’t know about others, but for me this seemingly little option was a huge improvement.
Elegant how you placed the request to support Markdown in the note field inside the thank you note ;-)
There is also the Paste as Plain Text function in the Edit menu on Mac.
Hi,
I’ve a question for this plain text.
Not sure why, but “Paste Plain” appears for me only
once when I long tapped on a memo field – Edit Field – Go Back – open the memo field value.
It sometimes appears when I directly edit the value of a memo field, but then also just once.
What I’m doing wrong ?
