When I sync from MacBook, I can’t get all records transferred (#220 > #223), nor any of the filters from the MacBook to iPad/iPhone

    What should I be doing?

Also, how do I sync filters?

    Hi Kenichi,

Saved Searches do sync. They just show up in a different place on iOS.

To see the Saved Searches, once you’ve tapped on a Form to view the records, you’ll see a filter button at the top of the list of records. Tap on that and you’ll see all your Saved Searches. Tap on one to select it. Your records will be filtered bye the selected search.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Brendan,

I have a Forms list on my MacBook and iPad/iPhone, but the records do not sync correctly. The Mac has 220, the iPad has 223, and the iPhone has 222. Similar for other databases.

The filters do not transfer from device to device, but I can recreate them easily enough.

    Hi Kenichi,

Try closing and re-opening your document. The Saved Searches should sync.

I’ve tried that Brendan, and I still have different numbers of forms in the databases on different platforms, and the saved searches don’t sync either

Are you able to identify the records that are different? If so, make a small change to them.

The same with the Saved Searches. Even just rename one and that should trigger it to sync.

Brendan, I’m not sure how, but my DBsrecords were syncing into different locations/protocols. Some were iCloud+, which I would eventually like to use as default. But now using local WiFi has solved problems.

    THANKS!

Each document can have its own Sync service selected. So some can be using Cloud+ and others WiFi, and others WebDAV or the older iCloud sync.
