Sync issues

    I’ve been getting the “Synchronization has failed” message today on the desktop version. I’ve tried resetting all my devices, as well as turning off the use of Dropbox and back on again, but my desktop version does not appear in the device list, but my iPads and iPhone do appear. Unfortunately, they are not getting the updates from the desktop version.

    This generally means a mismatch in the encryption key between one or more devices. Either one or more devices doesn’t have it set or it’s not the same as the others.

    Hmmm, I did not use the encryption key feature on any of the devices. I eventually got everything resynced after trying to reset and then after disconnecting and reconnecting to Dropbox several times. Not sure what did the trick.
