I have imported a database from Filemaker (containing a number, Tap Forms terms, of Forms). One of the fields is a time field. One Form is the master Form and contains a link to a second Form, which contains the time field.
In Filemaker, In the first Form I was able to sum the total of the linked second Form time fields linked . This doe nots appear possible with Tap Forms. The only option available is to count those the number of fields.
Is there a way to sum time fields?
You should be able to sum up the Time fields across multiple records. A Time field just holds the time value in seconds. So adding up the seconds across a set of records gives you the total that you want. The Number Formatter will convert that into whatever units you’ve chosen (e.g. HH:MM, hrs, mins, secs, etc.)
You can also sum the values of a Time field in a Link to Form field also.
