    Hi
I have my iMac, MBPro and iPad all syncing fine with iCLoud, slow though it is! I keep the master updated data file version on my iMac. I am going to do a clean install of Big Sur on the iMac. My question is this…

Is it best to make sure I have a master copy and backup on my MBPro and then use ‘send to’ to get it from my MBPro to the new installed iMac or, if I have a master copy of the file added to the iMac from transferring data, can I just somehow use that file and enable sync? I know I haven’t worded this very well but hope it is reasonably clear what I am trying to do and the ways I see of doing it!

    Many thanks & cheers….

    Hi Tony,

I would recommend using the Send Document function to send a copy from your MBP to your new iMac.

Once you have the copy on your new iMac, then you can enable sync on the iMac in Tap Forms.

    Thanks!

    Brendan
