Sort fields

I want to reflect the order of the fields changed by the default layout in the table view.

Is it possible?

Hi BD,

You can drag fields up and down on the Fields tab to change the order of the fields.

If you’re talking about sorting by different fields, then you set the First Sort Order.

For the multi-column list view, click on the little X button at the top-right of it. A Select Fields popover will display. You can rearrange the order of the fields there and click the Save button. The same goes for Table fields and Link to Form fields.

For example, create three text fields with the default layout.
Text 1
Text 2
Text 3

The order of the table view automatically becomes “text 1 ,text 2 , text 3”.

Next, rearrange the fields of the default layout.
Text 3
Text 1
Text 2

However, the order of the table view does not change from “text 1, text 2, text 3”.

Can you do this automatically to “text 3 ,text 1 , text 2”?

I can’t do it automatically. You have to change it yourself manually. You decide the order of the fields in the multi-column list view. Tap Forms just takes on the original ordering. But you can have the multi-column list view different than the Default Layout.
