    Hi

    I have been using a tap forms database to record client attendance. I see individual clients on a particular day every week. I want to be able to sort or group clients by days of the week. I currently store the day of the appointment as text, ‘Mon’ or ‘Tue’ and this can only be sorted alphabetically. Is there any way of storing a day and sorting by days of the week. I could put a number in front of each day, ‘1 Mon’ ‘2 Tues’ etc but this looks messy. Is there a better way to do this.

    I use a pick list for days, can the order of items in the pick list be used to sort?

    Hi Ken,

    I’m afraid your only solution will be to add numbers as a prefix to you days to get the kind of sorting that you need. There’s no way to sort by the order of the pick list values.
