Sketch Pad – Dead Spots and Shifting Up

I’ve incorporated the sketch pad in a form field and use it to record quick notes regarding a flight with a student. I’m having two problems.
1. When the iPad is vertical there is a dead spot from bottom centre approx. 1 inch wide and 2″ tall.
2. movement of the finger or stylist upwards within this area causes the complete sketch page to move vertical and there is no way to bring it back down.

Hi Tom,

Rotate the iPad to landscape orientation and slide your finger up and down the right side of the screen in the grey area. That’s the way it works on the iPad.
