I have a Purchase Order form that I have linked to a Vendors form. When I enter the Vendor field to select the Vendor, I have to click on the link icon, start typing the vendor name to find it, and click on it again to link it.
Is there a way to allow me to start typing when I enter the field without having to click on the link icon first.
As it is, I’m on the keyboard, have to leave the keyboard for the mouse, back to keyboard, back to the mouse to click again. I’d like to be able to avoid the mouse as much as possible when entering this data.

I’m sorry, but the only way to link records is to first click on the checkmark button. But when you type your search term in, you can press the tab key and then the arrow down key to highlight an item, then press Return to select that item to link to the record.
