    Hey Brendan,
I have been trying to restore a large file from my Ipad to my Desktop (4.9GB) and I can back it up on the Ipad, but when I copy it and go to restore it on the desktop version (Mac) I get the following error. I have restored plenty of large files before and this is the first time I have started getting this message.

    Restore failed
The restore operation failed to uncompress the backup file. Check to see if the backup file’s integrity is intact by uncompressing it in the Finder and looking inside to see if all the files are there.

    Cheers,
    Grant

    Hi Grant,

And does the Finder uncompress the file ok?

I’ve been having a similar issue with a 6 GB backup file that I’m trying to restore. I think it’s just too big for the ZipArchive library that I’m using.

One other option is to unzip it in the Finder and then manually copy the files to the right location on your computer. Make sure Tap Forms is not running when you do this.

    The right location is here:

    ~/Library/Containers/com.tapforms.mac/Data/Documents

    Thanks,

    Brendan

    Thanks Brendan,
That seemed to work just fine. I think you must be right about the ZipArchive in Tapforms.

    Cheers,

    Grant
