When I set up a layout and wish to print it is possible to have the date and time, page number and ‘1 Record’ (later on right hand side of the report).

As far as I can see it is not possible to turn off the printing of ‘1 Record’ by itself. This is controlled under ‘Options’ in the Print dialog for TapForms Mac 5 by the ‘include page numbers’ option. That is it is not possible to only have page numbers without ‘1 Record’ appearing.

Would it possible to do so?

    Hi Victor,

On a custom layout it doesn’t print “1 Record”. You could try that. But I guess I should have a separate property for that.

    Brendan,

    Thank you for the response.

The “1 Record” does appear on a custom layout too.

Oh yes you’re right. Odd. When I replied I checked it and it wasn’t showing for me. But I checked again and it is. Sorry about that.

    Brendan,

    Thank you for the information.

    Could you consider being able:

    1. able to change the type size, font, non-bold option; and
    2. able to include different or more information (eg include a field); and
    3. able to print a header rather than a footer.

That’s really all part of the more advanced report generation engine that I want to write that allows you to customize the header, footer, and content area of your custom layouts.

It’s a longer term project that I would like to start sometime this year.
