    Good Day Again,

    Is it possible to make a QR code from a calculation field? For example:

    Field 1, Item Name = Big Blue Frisbee
    Field 2, Item Serial Number = 123456789
    Field 3, Calculation(text) = [Field1]” “[Field2]

    This outputs = Big Blue Frisbee 123456789

    Great.. Now QR codes allow alpha-numeric so I need a check box to create barcode :(

    Any ideas?

    Hi Rich,

    The Calculation field doesn’t have the functionality to generate any barcodes. However, it seems an arbitrary limitation, so I’ll see what I can do to add it as a future enhancement. I probably just didn’t think about it at the time I wrote the barcode stuff.

    Hello,

    I too think it would be handy to create a barcode from a calculated field, much in the way Rich describes.
