Bruce PensylParticipantUsing current data I wanted to print a list for my housekeeper on reservation dates for my ABB. I just wanted Last name, date in, and date out.
Did a freeform layout and quickly moved the appropriate fields into place, with files labels as column headers. Marked it for printer.
When I hit print the last name is not showing and the field labels are truncated. I cannot seem to make this print as I wins, and it seems simple, or so I thought

Bruce PensylParticipantI have attached a duplicate of the original file to eliminate too much information. Sample data that is needed was entered.
Screen shot was from the original file
Thank you
Bruce

Paul KettleParticipantHello Bruce
I’m very much a newbie with tap forms but have encountered the issue of headers being truncated.
You can change the field width as per my screen shot…
Hope this helps with your issueAttachments:

Bruce PensylParticipantThank you for the reply.
I have looked all over and I cannot find where you got the screen shot.
Additionally I want the guests last name on the form. In Tapforms layout it is there. When I go to print preview it is no where to be seen.

Paul KettleParticipantHello again Bruce
I can’t replicate the issue with missing guests name
however the screen shot I sent you is from the main menu >print command
About two thirds of the way down the dialogue box, you should see three buttons – General, Fields & Options – click on the middle one ‘fields’ and then double click on the field you want to extend the character length…..Attachments:

Thanks again

BrendanKeymasterHi Bruce,
It looks like you’re building a custom layout. Generally those are used for single record printouts. If you want a spreadsheet style output, then what Paul has suggested is what you want to do. Use the “Table of records” option on the Print panel. That’ll give you what Paul has suggested and you don’t have to make a custom layout for that.

Bruce PensylParticipantThank you Paul and Brendan for the assistance, and sorry for the delay in saying that.
I have to do some playing to do to see how to get it all on one page.
Thanks again,
B
