When I upgraded from TapForms 5 to Pro, I lost my saved report formats. So I’ve been rebuilding them. I was able to quickly recreate the table report, but I’m struggling to figure out how to get the default layout back for the detail report format (basically all the fields, laid out just like the form. Is there a way to choose the default format, which is shown in the user manual, but what I get is a greatly simplified version.

I’ve attached what the default details report looks like, and also a screenshot of my form. In version 5 I was able to get a pretty good representation of the form, printed two sided on a single page. It doesn’t look as graphically clean with Pro, and doesn’t jive with what the user manual says. Am I missing something?

    Hi Erik,

Adding some more adjustments for the Field label placement is something I want to add to the new report engine. At the moment it’s what you see is what you get (aside from the current set of parameters you can adjust on the report layout).

    Thanks,

    Brendan

Also, one reason why I changed it was because with the old report engine, if you had a very large Note field, it couldn’t span multiple pages on the report. Now it can.
