    Hello,
    I want to create my own layout for a list view.
    I use a new layout and place the desired fields horizontally next to each other.
    Now I would have to define the print area (I know it from filemaker..)! I also wonder how I determine headers and footers …
    Do I have to use a label layout template?

    Well, if you want a very customized layout, then yes, you would have to use the Label layout. However, you won’t be able to get headers and footers that way.

    To get a tabular printout, you need to use the Table of records Print Layout option on the Print panel.
