I’m finding sections of text in my notes/comments field that are colored blue as you would find for active links. Searching for why, I’ve found issues people have with Apple’s active data detectors in Mail and other programs. Not sure if that’s where to look but I’d rather be in control of my type. I can’t seem to change the color in TapForms and it occurs for addresses, strings of numbers and other things that aren’t links and that weren’t copied and pasted. I’d prefer for it to not happen at all and wonder why TapForms is doing this, seemingly on it’s own.

Any idea how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Bruce,

It’s just because Tap Forms has the Apple Data Detectors enabled.

Is this the Mac or iOS version?

You can right-click on a blue area to edit the link if it’s a link.

And on iOS, just tapping on the Edit button will put your into Edit mode and shouldn’t react to tapping on the detected data links.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
