Hello- I’m sure I’m missing something. When I create a Note Field and put it in a form, I am unable to go to the next line by hitting return/enter. For example: Line 1 is name, line 2 is address, line 3 is phone number.
What am I doing wrong?

Are you sure you haven’t created a Text field instead of a Note field? A Text field does not allow carriage returns within the content. A Note field does.
Yup.. I had to restart TF and then it worked fine.

I notice when you import stuff into a text field, it recognizes the carriage return but when you enter it in via a form, it does not. Is there no special character sequence to get a CR in a text field? (I find the Note field somewhat ‘elaborate’… I just want a few simple lines in a text field)

Press option-return to insert a linefeed into a Text field. However, you won’t see the results until the table view in the Default Layout gets refreshed. Although it’s fine on a custom layout because you can control the height of a field there.
