I’m delighted with this new feature. I’ve been waiting for this:
Numbered Pick List Values with Text
If you assign a Pick List to a Number field, those numbers can contain text in them and Tap Forms will pull out just the number value to store in the field.
Unfortunately, I can’t figure out exactly how it works.
For example, I have an entry called ‘7 Item’ in the picklist. When I select it, no number appears in the form.
If I then click on the ‘empty’ field, the selected item appears in the drop-down list.
What do I need to do to make it appear?
In lists, too, only an empty field appears.

Thank you very much for your quick reply. Unfortunately, I can’t get it to work.
In my case, the values from the picklist aren’t being saved in the table. When I select a color from the picklist, the numeric field remains empty.
I’ve attached the example database. It contains only one table with two fields and a pick list.
I’ve just found out that it works on macOS, but not on iOS for me.
What am I doing wrong on iOS?
