Nearby Sync keeps timing out

    Syncing between my Mac and my iPad using Nearby. I keep getting the message it timed out. Each device has the other in it’s sync list. The document ID is the same.
    What can I do?

    Restarted computer, now it synced. Thanks anyway!

    I guess this wasn’t the first time it’s happened, but this time I needed it more…The network otherwise is OK as far as I can tell. I know restarting is supposed to refresh the network connections.

    This keeps happening, any ideas about what might cause it?

    You could try removing the devices from each other and re-add them.

    It’s really hard to say exactly what is causing it though. Could be anything from a faulty WiFi router to overloaded network or just a ghost in the machine.
