Moving records between forms?

Is it possible to move a record from one form to another if they are identical? For example, I want to split my Contacts form into two separate (but identical) forms, one for Customer Contacts and one for Vendor Contacts.

The reason I want to do this is because the vendor contacts will have fields in it that the customer form won’t and vice versa.

I was going to simply have a popup for Customer or Vendor, but now I have more fields that I want to add that are specific to each.

Hi Mike,

There’s no direct way to do that. But you could export your records as a CSV file and then re-import them into the other form.
