Hello,
I use TapForms both on my laptop and on my tablet and I’m very happy about it.
However I can’t find a way to move an entry from one form to another one.
Is there any way to do so? If not, is it maybe a feature you might consider adding in a new update?
I have already seen this discussion https://www.tapforms.com/forums/topic/moving-entry-to-different-identical-form/ but unfortunately the saved searches function is not really an option for me.
I really think it would be an excellent improvement for an already gerat application!
Thank you
Hi Seba,
Moving records from one form to another is not supported. But thanks for the feature request. In the 3.5.9 update you will be able to copy and paste data from the multi-column list view into another form and Tap Forms will simply loop through the values on the clipboard and paste them into the cells starting from the cell that you first clicked on. So that may be a way for you to do it.
3.5.9 is already available directly from my website direct download version, but is still awaiting review with Apple for the Mac App Store version.

Hi Brendan,
thank you very much for the quick answer and for the copy and paste feature.
Hopefully you’ll implement a transfer function (maybe drag and drop?) but in the meantime I’ll try out the copy and paste, this should definitely make my work easier!
keep up the good work!
TapForms is really a great programme
