Surya PaidimarryParticipantHi Tapforms Pro,
I have been using Tapforms 5 and recently in the May 2025, I have migrated to taprooms pro. Today when I restarted my laptop, I have lost my taprooms pro database document in its entirety. I have valuable information stored in the document. Could you please let me know how to recover it. Office Document is available as empty in the backups section, where as it used to be 8 GB. Please help me to recover the document.

Daniel LeuParticipantWhen you made backups from the app, did you configure a different backup location? Did you store your documents in the default location or did you put it into a custom location like Documents?
Maybe try to find the document called Office.tfpro. In the terminal app, execute
find ~ -iname "office.tfpro". Or for backup filesfind ~ -iname "office*.tfpbak".Another option would be to restore the file from you computer backup, if you (hopefully) have one.
Cheers, Daniel

BrendanKeymasterI’m sorry this issue happened. Daniel’s suggestion is a good one. See if you can find any file with a .tfpro file extension on your drive. It may be there somewhere.
Did you also check the Open Recents menu to see if it shows up there?
Thanks,
Brendan
