Previous to TF5 on iOS, I could start to enter text in the search bar, and the records would be filtered live. In TF5, it appears that I have to hit enter before the search begins. Was this an intentional change? I really liked the old behavior.
Yes, it was intentional, but it was because I kept having complaints that in larger databases it would take too long for the first set of results to come back. But perhaps I’ll put a threshold on that so it searches live if you’ve got fewer than x number of records.
