Hello! I am exploring options for our small business.
I was hoping someone might explain how/if Tapforms would work for me.
Basically, we have People and Devices
I would like each Person to have a form that has things like address, contact info, email, etc. Just basic information about them.
I would like the second data set to be Devices. Each device has a serial, date of purchase, etc, but also a “Who Has This Device” field
It doesn’t look like I could just use a contact, because I’d like to ensure that it ties to the page of the person.
So if I click on John Smith, it shows me his name and address and any devices he has been given.
It looks like I can maybe accomplish this with Linked To/From, but I’m not so sure.
Is this true?
In short: Yes, this will work exactly as you describe.
Just link to the device form in a many to many field and your set.
And it will only show devices registered to that specific person?
I’ve gotten it so that I can add a NEW device to a person, but what if we switch computers. I can’t reassign the device to another person?
It seems there should be a bidirectional relationship that isn’t evident

Hi Ben,
So you discovered the Many to Many link type I would presume? That would let you unlink and re-link the record to someone else.
