Is there any problem for a form to link to itself?
For example, if you have a Companies form, and want to link one company to another? In this case, a sales and marketing company linking to a vendor?

It’s ok. That’s called a reflexive relationship.
But don’t turn on the Show Inverse Relationship option. The inverse relationship will automatically appear in the same field on the child record.
