Link to a specific record in markdown field

Hi,

I would like to link to a specific record within a text note field, e.g. a markdown field
In the record view (I am on iOS), the link looks as expected and all markdown is formated as expected,  but when the field is viewed separated, in order to read the complete content of this field, (not yet in edit mode), the MD formating is gone and it looks like in editing mode.

1. Would it be possible to keep the field in a formatted view, until the <edit> button is pressed to activate the “edit mode”, or

2. is there any other option to implement links to a specific record within any other (long text) field type in a way, that only the “short form” of the link (not the entire URL) is visible?

Hi Giovanni,

Hmm… ya, you’re right, the Markdown field should be rendering the markdown until you go into Edit mode.

I’ll look into this.
