‘license does not match product’

    Hi Brendan

    Trying to (re-)install on my MBP, my main is on another Mac. Using same license number as on Mac, I get an error ‘license does not match product’ and doesn’t let me activate it.

    Can’t find any answers on forum..

    Hi Derek,

    This happens if you have a Tap Forms 5 license and try to activate Tap Forms 3.5 with it. Or vice versa, if you have a Tap Forms 3.5 license and you try to activate Tap Forms 5 using it.

    Which version of Tap Forms is your license key for?

    Both are tapforms 5.. Mac is activated and MBP not.

    The only time I’ve ever seen that error is when you try to use the license key for the wrong version of Tap Forms.

    thanks brendan, that did it.. I was trying to install 3.5! somehow I was always downloading 3.5 instead of the trial version 5. sorry for the trouble!
