Is there a way to set layout preferences?

Whenever I drag a field to a layout the field settings default to a “stroke color and “field color” that I don’t want (a white box). Is there a way to set a diffeent setting as a default? Also I’d like to set the position (Field title relative to field content) differently as default.

Hi John,

I don’t have any preferences for that, but I could possibly have Tap Forms remember the last setting you chose so that when you drag out a new field it uses that same last property value for those. Like I do for fonts. If you set a font on a layout object, Tap Forms will use the same font for other fields you drag out.

Thanks – that would be a great time and frustration-saver. I’ll look for it in a future update.
Love your product – much better for a sole-proprieter like me than Filemaker Pro.
