My Mac TapForm is syncing with my iPad, but not my iPhone. Both show up in the Sync preferences and I get a green light on both.

    Any suggestions?

BTW… I’m using Nearby Sync on a local network. In fact, I’ve tried two different networks and neither will sync the iPhone.

Do you have the Local Network option enabled for Tap Forms under Privacy in the Settings app?

Also make sure you’ve got the latest version of Tap Forms 5 for iOS installed. There was an update I made recently that I published which allowed Tap Forms to know the name of your device again. In iOS 16, Apple has made that private info now unless you get special permission from them to get that information. Tap Forms needs that to facilitate nearby sync.

Excellent! Was it the Local Network setting or the Tap Forms update that fixed it?

LOL… hard to tell. I made a change to the local network but also updated the app. I’m pretty sure it was Local Network though.

If Local Network was off, that would definitely prevent Nearby Sync from working in Tap Forms.
