IPhone 2G (Firmware 3.x) Support on upcoming versions?

Please: The OS 4.0 is not supported on 2G iPhones, could you guarantee me, that the further updates will keep working on 3.x firmware hardware like the 2G before i buy the app and an update will make it unusable?

Hello Metapro,

Well, there are ways to use new features from a new OS, but to target old versions of the OS. But there comes a point where an app might just need to be upgraded to the latest OS completely. I’ll do my best, but I can’t guarantee anything for sure. At the moment I’m building the iPad version which uses new iPad features, but still can be compiled for the iPhone version on OS 3.0. So it’s definitely possible. Just something I can’t guarantee.

But i hope you understand that people like me who have a 2G iPhone cant spend 700 EUR just to buy a iPhone for the new TapForms Versions…
