    Hi Brendan.

I’m going to be getting the IOS TapForm for IPhone. Will TapForm DB on the MAC sync without having to use either ICloud or Cloudiant? That would be great.

And if it does, will making a change to IPhone record update on the MAC and the other way around?

Yes it will. You can use Nearby sync on iOS too.

Yes, changing a record on either device will trigger the other device to pull the changes from it.

All you need to do is make sure that you add the Mac to the iPhone and add the iPhone to the Mac on the Nearby sync settings screen.

That’s the way I sync between my MacBook and iPhone. Changes from both sides sync to the other side whenever the app is running on both devices and they are on the same wifi.

With the new TAPForm 5.2.3 computer and IOS 5.2.2 (777) updates, I no longer get SSL messages AND changes made on IPhone now change DB on computer! Way to go Brendan!

And even though the update says it fixes stuff in High Sierra, it also fixed the problem in low Sierra 10.12.6
