    Hi Brendan,

I have created a form with image fields (Mac version 3.5.14), synced the form via iCloud to a (small) iPad Pro and an iPhone 6s (4.0.6). The field’s image size is set to 1024 x 1024.

When a picture with the camera is taken and I sync the datasets back to the Mac, show the image files in the Finder, the images are not scaled. They have kept their original size. This might become an issue as we plan to collect a large amount of images.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

    TIA

    Timo

I think it’s a Retina screen scale issue that’s causing this bug.

Try 512×512 and you’ll get an image constrained to 1024×1024 due to a Retina screen being x2 a non-retina screen. I need to look into my image scaling code.

    Hi Brendan,

Thank you – so simple and obvious :-) The workaround fixes the issue.

If the issue is fixed, will a note appear in the update release notes? We have to become aware of the fix somehow in order to alter the desired image size in our forms to the new, corrected size.

    Kind regards,

    Timo
