    Since I updated

    I am Locked out of tapforms on my iphone

    It just shows the icloud icon but greyed out,

    Or i go to app store and it shows the open icon greyed out

    and i cannot open it

    I tied to resolve I went to app store update and updated to latest tapforms

    but still locked out

    Try deleting TF and reinstall. iCloud should have a backup for you.

    I did that

    I deleted it

    It knows its not on my iphone

    But its greyed out for download

    Im still stuck!

    Hi Wayne,

    Hmm… Well, I can assure you this isn’t an actual Tap Forms issue, despite the fact that it’s happening to Tap Forms. It seems like an iOS App Store issue. You may want to contact AppleCare support to see if they have any solutions.

    What about installing it from iTunes instead of the App Store app on your device?

    But Now the update is greyed out and cant seem to get it

    but not bothered about that

    my database is back from icloud

    so im up and running again

    lost a few records but only 2 entries i think

    TapForms was greyed out out in the App Store and iphone

    I just couldn’t get it to open on my iPhone

    Although in iTunes it was showing in the apps, showing on screen one, but on the actual iPhone it wasn’t showing no matter if I synced or whatever I just could not get it to show

    finally resolved it today by doing

    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings

    This didn’t delete any of my photos or music or any of my documents for apps nothing was deleted except some changes to the preferences. Such as my desktop picture disappeared, and I needed to type in the Wi-Fi network key again but nothing major

    And I finally got TapForms working again

    Actually this applies to iOS 8.1 also

    as that is what I’m on now

    Thought 8.1 may resolve my tap forms problem but it didn’t

    But I resolved it as above anyway
