    Hi

    Is there anyway to make the image background of a photo field a different colour other than white, as the pictures look horrible set against a white background

    See enclosed example of a tap forms icon in a photo field

    Hi Andrew,

    The issue is that the thumbnails are being saved a JPG images, even if the original image is a PNG that includes transparency. I’ll have to look into that and keep the image format when the thumbnail versions get created. I agree, it doesn’t look great.

    Can this future support for transparency also apply to images in the record itself ?

    I’m working on it for everywhere. I’m working on keeping the original image type for all thumbnails and preview images. Basically wherever I scale an image, I’ll try to retain the original image’s format.
