Hi Brendan
Since the last update (mid of March?) there are problems with the iCloud sync. I changed nothing else than updating Tap Forms on my Mac and my iPhone.
– MacOS 26.4
– iOS 26.4
– Tap Forms Pro Version 1.1
Sometimes a few data records are synchronized, most of the time none. This applies equally to both directions, it doesn’t matter whether I enter something on the iPhone or on the Mac. Both devices show synchronization as before the update (spinning sync symbol and moving bar), but it does not transfer any data. I have disabled synchronization on both devices, deleted the document on the iPhone, re-enabled synchronization, re-loaded the document to the iPhone. No change, data is not synchronized. I hope you have an idea what is wrong, thank you.
Greetings, Daniel
Are you using the regular iCloud sync or the new Cloud+ sync?
Did you sync the first device, then go to the iCloud Documents screen in Tap Forms and download the document to your other device?
Also, it seems that Apple has broken the notifications coming from iCloud in iOS 26.4 and macOS 26.4 recently. So it may need an update from Apple to fully fix it. The notifications aren’t coming in which tells Tap Forms to sync the data. So you have to manually trigger the sync.
Hi Brendan
Thank you for pointing out the iCloud+ option, that was it. All my documents were still set to normal iCloud Sync. I must have overlooked the fact that there are two iCloud Sync options, please excuse. I’ve switched to iCloud+ Sync, and everything seems to be working as desired now, problem solved.
Thank you and have a good time,
Daniel
That’s great to hear Daniel!
