    Hi Brendan.

OK. I really messed up. How do I restore from a back up or archive from scratch. I did a back up yesterday which created the .zip file. when I double click that, it creates a .tapforms document in the same folder as all my .zip files are in. If I double click on that .tapfprm document, all is good. I get all my data.

However, when I quit and restart TF, it opens a blank window. Before I’d be able to launch TF and it would open that DB. Do I need to move my .tapform document someplace else for that to happen? I am able to get the TF start-up window. Maybe I need to do something there?

    Thanks.

I think I solved this. I placed the .tapform file in the Library>Containers>com.tapzapp.tapforms-mac>Data>Documents>my database file.

When I launch TF, it now seems to open that DB by default.

Did I do this correctly, though?

    Yes, that’s fine.

You could also have used the Restore command and Tap Forms would unzip the file for you and put it in that folder for you. That’s really all the restore does. You just did it by hand.
