how to display result of formula with currency

I would like to create either one of the following formulas:
1) time cell x currency cell = currency cell
2) number cell x currency cell = currency cell

For the moment I do not manage to achieve either of the options, either the resulting value is wrong, either the result is correct but does not display the currency.

Any way to achieve this?

Hi Julien,

Yes you can format a Calculation field with the Currency Number Format.

On the field properties for your Calculation field, at the bottom you’ll see a property called Number Format. Set that to Currency and the Decimal Places to 2 and you should be good to go.

I’m assuming that your “Time” field is actually a Number field representing a number of hours? If so, then that’s ok. But if Time represents a point in time, then your formula wouldn’t make sense.
