Full Date Format

Hi

is it possible to use Full  Date format in the ‘Date Modified’ field without showing the time? If I use dd/MM/yy it only shows 20.07.23 with no time, full date format and I cant seem to get rid of the time.

Hi Tony,

No, the full date format is designed to show everything.

You can customize the date format though by inputting different strings into the Custom Format field.

What is the exact format that you want?

What I am after is any format that shows, UK, day date, in figures, day month in some form in words, year date, either two or figures…. BUT….with no time shown at all.

EG: Fri (Friday) 23rd Mar (March), 23 (or 2023)

so: Fri, 23rd March, 23 would be ideal! I can do this in Numbers no problem.

hope that is clear and you can help. Any news by the ay on the new update? Just a hint?

Try this website which helps you to come up with the date formatter patterns you’d need to put into the Custom Date Format setting in Tap Forms:

This should do it if you only want a 2 digit year:

E, d MMM, yy

which will generate:

Sat, 22 Jul, 23
