    Brendan,

I’ve several forms. With one I can not filter on the text field which contain a list.

The triangle for the drop list doesn’t appear in the filterbox.

    see attached screen prints

The first is the one with the fault. the second is ole. These are different forms but the fields contains the same specs.

    Where it goes wrong?

    Found it!

I had a separator field with the same name…That doesn’t match. Pitty :-)

    Hi Leo,

Ya, unfortunately the field names need to be unique in the Search Rules fields selector. That field selector automatically shows only unique field names. It’s out of my control. So it works best if all your field names are unique.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

    Oh, one other reason why…

Because that control only gives me the name of the field when you select it. I am then searching for a matching Field object which has the same name as the value selected in the popup button. I stop at the first one I come across. I suppose I could change it to ignore Section Heading field types since there’s never any values for Section Heading fields.

    Thanks,

    Brendan
