    Hi Brendan,

I do have a question in regards of the file handling when the filename exists.

I often have the same document assigned to different records, each time it gets a new copy instead of just assigning the same document to another record.

My request would be to extend the file handling.

    1. (Quick Solution) in the German version you add “1 kopieren” which should be ” 1 Kopie” instead. Please notice the blank before the number as well!

    2. (Extended Request) would it be possible to add a dialog to notify the user that this document has already been copied and used with another record and how to handle it? Choices I’m thinking of would be
    a) adding it with the post extension string (in 1)
    b) choosing the same file (and name) that has already been copied.
    c) coping and choosing the file with a different (custom) user name when copied.

Many thanks for considering my suggestion.

    Cheers
    Joerg

    Hi Joerg,

Thanks for the German correction. I have just made the fix.

Are you sure it should be capitalized? In English it would look like this:

    File Name copy 1.jpg
    File Name copy 2.jpg

Also thanks for the feature request.

    Hi Brendan,

thank you so much, yes please “Kopie” should be capitalized. That is the way it is correct here in Germany :)

And it would be even better to have the number after the word “Kopie” like “Kopie 1”, “Kopie 2” etc. like you have written it at your English example!

Have a great day and thank you so much again!

    Cheers
