Searched for “export”, didn’t find much of assistance.

I can’t find any way to capture my many-to-many table relationships via the export functionality. Neither CSV (somewhat understandably) nor Excel (somewhat less understandably) include a representation of the linked rows.

I’ve had requests to share my data, but without those relationships the data is much less valuable. I only need one field out of the auxiliary tables; is there really nothing to be done?

    Hi John,

When you export the parent form’s records, make sure you have the Export Linked Records option turned on. Also make sure you have the Export Record IDs option turned on too. With that, Tap Forms will generate a separate file for each linked form.

When you import to another copy of Tap Forms, you have to import the parent form first, then each of the linked form CSV files. During that process, Tap Forms will re-link the data.

    Thanks,

    Brendan

Thank you for the prompt response. I see the structure of the auxiliary values now, thank you very much.
