Enter data in fields not possible, out of the standardlayout

Moin Brendan,

in most cases 8/10 i cannot enter data in fields in my custom layout. I have to change to standard layout and back to custom layout to do that. There seems to be something, that blocks this.

Hi Mark

Make sure that you don’t have the Layout button selected on the custom layout.

Also, if you set the “Record Details View” setting in the General settings so that “Show Empty Fields” is checked but “Show Edit/Save Button” is NOT checked, that will help.
