    I am trying to use the encrypt field value function without much success. When I select this function for a field in the customize/edit/field options section the slider moves to on but when I then go to the relevant form I can still access the data in that field although I do need to provide the code before accessing the form. Is it possible to encrypt just one field – the field with the sensitive data – without encrypting the whole form? Thanks

    Hi,

    That’s the way that works. The reason I did it like that is if you were to have encrypted a field that’s being used to display in the list view, it was required to enter your encryption key before viewing the list of records.

    In my 2.1 update released to Apple, you have the option of turning on full database encryption. You’ll need to enter your encryption key each time the app is launched or brought to the foreground.
