Hi Brendan, love the product. How do I duplicate a complete form? Preferably without the data.

    Regards

    Hi Karl,

As replied to in your email, but responding here for the benefit of the Tap Forms community, you can duplicate a form template from the Forms menu and select “Duplicate Form”.

    Thanks!

Hi Brendan, I still have a problem..
This is for version 3.1.3 (93) under IOS 6.1.3 on an iPhone 3Gs..
    I proceed as follows..

    1. From Forms menu, I select tools.
    2. From Tools, I select Customize Forms
    3. From the list of forms presented, I select the form I want to duplicate,
Shopping.work, puts me in Edit Form
    4. Using the “revert” icon in the top RH of the Edit Form tool bar,
    I select Duplicate Form
    5. Edit Form now shows details of a new form, Shopping.work copy
    6. Selecting Forms from the LH of the bottom tool bar take me to Forms
    7. Shopping.work copy is NOT visible
    8. Selecting Tools from RH of bottom tool bar shows Shopping.work copy
    in Edit Form
    9. Selecting Customize Forms from LH of top tool bar shows
Customize Forms, Shopping.work copy is visible.
    10. Selecting Forms from LH of bottom tool bar
Shopping.work copy is NOT visible in Forms list.

I must be doing something wrong, but, I can’t see what it is..

    Hi Karl,

When you duplicate a form, you’re only duplicating the form template. Tap Forms only displays forms on the main Forms list when there are records inside the form. So to add records to that form you must tap on the + button on the Forms list screen and then select your duplicated form there in order to add records to it.

    Thanks!

    Brendan
