Is it possible to search a whole document, or is scope always limited to within a particular Form?
If one cannot search “All Forms” then is it possible to merge Forms with slightly different fields?
For example, I have my movies entered in two Forms, one with almost 300 DVDs and another with 175 Blu-rays and Digital downloads (type indicated by checkmark field). If I want to find a movie regardless of format, is there a search possible?

Aside: If it is not possible, and I put then all in one “Movies” Form by adding fields so that the the two Forms the same list of fields and then export/import records into one Form in which DVD/Blu-ray is identified by another checkmark field? (but it would be nice to keep them separate and be able to search across Forms)

    Hi
You can search all forms. Whatever form you are in type in a search which will find for that form, then click the ‘ALL Forms’ button and it will find for any match within the database.
    Cheers…

Thanks! This is an elegant and intuitive solution.
My old eyes just did not notice the “All forms” appear in the header.
